Hi there.....hope you had a great weekend! Thanks for all of your advice about migraines. I look forward to reading over a lot of it today, seems to be a lot of good advice in there! I can always count on my readers to come through and truly appreciate it. Can you believe we are already in April? 2012 is already flying by or is it just life in general as we get older? Think it must be the latter! Anyway today's post is fun.....just imagine this, you are throwing a luncheon for a bunch of your friends. The reason? Why spring of course! Just a lovely "spring-y" get together to celebrate the newness of this majestic season. Its up to you as to what your theme and feel will be, casual and laid back, formal and fancy, a beachy vibe perhaps or a more colorful setting tickling your fancy? There's something for everyone. Well....don't know about you but I would be delighted to be a guest at any one of these soirees and this has me in the mood to plan a little spring fling! Hard to pick a favorite but those outdoor settings always draw me right in. However give me any table with beautiful flowers and I am sold. Which would you choose?

Good morning to you! So how was your weekend? Ours was busy, but great. Went to an elegant party, if it wouldn't have drawn so many stares (and questions) I wish I would have had my camera:) Isn't it funny (and only bloggers can relate to this) but now everything I do I relate to wanting to share on my blog, if I see something totally fab or go somewhere so beautiful....the first thing I think about is sharing it so you all can see it too! Anywho.....
I don't know about you but typically this time of year I find myself craving a vacation. Coming off the heels of the stresses of moving, a vacation sounds so good right now! Plus the weather has been wacko, with it feeling like summer knocking on the door one day and then plunging into the 50's like it did the last two days...go figure!  Add that to yet another reason why I need a vacation.We might be planning a short getaway with friends in May...fingers crossed! So time to play along here....ready? Imagine this, you have just been granted by the vacation God, a trip to...anywhere you heart pleases. You can go for one week, all expenses, meals, and accommodations paid. Heck..shes (yes that's right its a SHE)  even including unlimited spa treatments! So, where would you go? Seriously...my heart says any of them but somehow Provence, Tuscany or Napa is where I could really see being most deliriously happy. Well wait a minute, I do love Maui! And bankrupt or not I have always wanted to go to Greece....OK just choose for me!  Not a bad choice amongst them and a vacation of virtually any kind sounds splendid right now. OK, your turn...which would you choose!!

And by the way do you want to know who the three most popular choices were for the "Which would you choose" last week? The one where I asked which designer you would choose to hand over your home to? They were no surprise, David Easton, Charles Faudree and John Jacob. Surprised? No, nor am I. Not a bad one in that bunch though and I am pleased to say every single one of them got a respectable number of votes and with good reason! Wishing you a wonderful day.

Hey there! How is your week going? Mine is going fairly well, a few hiccups but what is life without them. I got the idea for this post when I was invited to someones house for a beautiful girls only intimate dinner. It made me realize how much I missed entertaining and having friends and family over for impromptu lunches and dinners. Always great fun to plan an intimate gathering in your home, when you are in the mood that is! But when you are not, it can be a real chore. For arguments sake...lets imagine you are very much in the mood to plan something!
This weeks Which would you choose is a fun one. Imagine this (you know I like to set up my little scenarios) you have decided to throw a dinner party in honor of a very good friend. Maybe 8 or 10 of you, you are even hiring a chef for the occasion so you can be a guest at your own party. This dinner is going to be away to a destination of your choosing for the night. It could be wine country, the wild west, the beach, a penthouse....use your imagination! You get to plan the whole thing out, where, when and how you want it. Down to the dinner courses and dessert (best part if you ask me)  So.....now its time to choose the dining room setting for this party....so here we go! So......is it a clear cut chioce for you? Or did you waver back and forth between a few like me? I am going between the ski house with the snow capped mountains view (because I can imagine how cozy it would be) to the so inviting wine cellar dining room and Napa setting to the fabulous tropical setting because that means we are going to be in warm balmy weather and yummy tropical drinks  and that sounds pretty good right about now!!
